Jermaine Chaney
Vice President
Jermaine Chaney has been applying his leadership skills in the Financial and Insurance services industry for over 20 years. After pursuing his passion for football and playing professionally for the Canadian Football League (CFL) and the National Football League (NFL) in Europe and the U.S., playing for the Indianapolis Colts, he retired and began his work in the insurance and financial world. He started Chaney Financial Group in 2004 which is headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana.
It has been a pleasure for Jermaine to expand his team to provide retirement planning services and accredited investor services to clients. He has aggressive goals for his company but is equally concerned with the interests of his clients.
Through his background in professional sports, Jermaine works with area youths through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and served on the Big Ten Advisory Committee Board for 13 years. He enjoys giving motivational speeches, and mentoring the youth is something he holds dear to his heart.
As Jermaine continues to serve the youth and the community, he co-founded the Professional Athletes of Indiana which is a scholarship granting organization committed to providing access to quality education for every student. His faith directed him to extend his compassion to people by being a Member of Life Centers’ Board of Directors, along side with his Partner role with The Responsible Brand.
Jermaine holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University and a Master’s Degree in Business and Administration from Grace College and Seminary. Having the heart to help and serve the College and its students, he had the opportunity of serving as a Special Advisor to the President for Minority Student Affairs for several years.
He has four kids and has been married for 23 years. He and his family reside on the northwest side of Indianapolis and attend Cornerstone Bible Church.
